I feel as though I should've reached this momentous milestone a long time ago, but I'm so happy to report that this is my 100th post!
Most of you may not know this, but I actually created this blog in 2007. I don't know why I did. I guess I thought it would be cool to have one. Turns out I didn't really have anything to write about. Or at least anything that I thought people would actually want to read about. That is, until one very special boy came into our lives.
After Jackson's diagnosis I decided that I could either use Facebook to keep everyone updated on his diagnosis, delivery, surgeries, therapies, etc, etc, etc or I could go another route. Then the light bulb went off - you already have a blog genius! (I've got to admit here that it wasn't an instant realization. I kinda forgot the blog's existence. Which to some of you shouldn't surprise you in the least). Not only does the blog keep everyone with Internet access updated but I can use it as an online scrapbook, so to speak. I can easily find entries that I've posted here without having to scroll endlessly through my Facebook timeline that's inevitably cluttered with pictures, pictures, more pictures and sarcastic memes. Hey, what can I say? I'm a sarcastic, smart-ass. You know it, you love it, get over it. :)
Anywho, I'm completely honored that so many of my friends and family have enjoyed perusing the blog and partaking in my ramblings. 6,000 page views to date! That's exciting! I can't wait to see what the next 100 posts bring! ;)
